Mondays

10am - 11am  Gentle Hatha Yoga at Bearwood Community Centre in Bournemouth/Poole

1.15pm - 2pm  Hatha Flow Yoga at Sport BU, Talbot Campus, Bournemouth University

Thursdays

9am - 10am - Gentle Hatha Yoga at Knoll Gardens, Hampreston, (outdoors June - September)

Sundays

10am - 11am  (Once a month) Hatha Yoga at Pause Cat Cafe, Bournemouth

 

Hatha Yoga~ A general and classical approach to yoga breathing exercises and postures, unique in combining the breath with the posture creating a more calm and peaceful nervous system response. Gain flexibility, reduce stress, improve blood flow and immunity as well as posture and well being. 

 

Gentle Hatha Yoga - A slower and gentler Hatha practice that focuses on mobilising joints, improving balance and mind- body awareness. Moving more slowly and mindfully. Gentle breath work practices.  Variations are given with use of of blocks and straps. Suitable for seniors and beginners. 

 

Flow Yoga - Moving from one pose to the next using the breath, Sun Salutations and standing flowing sequences. Build strength and flexibility. 

Hatha Flow Yoga - A combination of Hatha and Flow moving from one pose to the next using the breath. 

 

Yin Yoga -   Involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held for 3 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of fascia, stimulating the flow of chi through the body, inducing emotional release, deep relaxation and opportunity for reflection and meditation.

Restorative Yoga - Emphasis on relaxation. Longer held seated, prone and supine postures heavily supported by props.

A monthly class in Bournemouth's Cat Cafe, Yoga with the cats! a fun and relaxing class with time after to play with the kitties and enjoy a hot drink
